Kedai Galvanize, Lorong Hang Jebat, Jonker Walk

Begitulah...Tertera alamat di atas adalah satu lagi out-let yang akan memasarkan nasi lemak bungkus aku.

En Azmin, tuanpunya out-let adalah usahawan tulen.  Beliau juga adalah seorang seniman dalam bidang lukisan,  lulusan UiTM macam aku juga.  Tetapi junior aku beberapa tahun.  Aku kenal dia bukan di UiTM, tapi di internet.  Dalam tercari-cari pembekal nasi lemak tulen kat Melaka ni,  dia terjumpa blog/facebook aku.

Setelah diberitau, dua malam yag lepas,  En Azmin singgah kat rumah aku di Lorong Pandan, Melaka.  Aku cuma meneka...tujuan En Azmin singgah kat rumah aku tu...mungkin mencari kepastian betul ke aku ni supplier nasi lemak tulen...atau part-timers sahaja.  Dan sudah pasti En Azmin akan 'food tasting' sample nasi lemak bungkus aku.

Sudah pasti En Azmin akan mencari supplier yang serius.  Maklumlah...En Azmin telah melabur ribuan ringgit untuk memulakan Kedai Galvanize nya di bandar Melaka ni.  Aku kagum dengan semangat beliau.  Barang diingat, sebuah kedai heritage di kawasan Jonker Walk sewanya bukan murah.  Paling kurang RM2,000.  Melihat kepada saiz out-let yang di sewa En Azmin aku anggarkan dia membayar sewa disitu tak kurang RM3,000 sebulan.  Fikir sendirilah...kalau 3 bulan deposit?  Deposit air/api?  Dan En Azmin juga ada melakukan sedikit ubah-suai kepada premis tersebut.

Apa kena mengena nama 'Kedai Galvanize' dengan warung kopi?  Sudah pasti anda semua tertanya-tanya.  Saya sudah tau jawapanya.  En Azmin sendiri yang beritau.  Kalau anda semua nak tau...pergilah singgah dan minum-minum di 'Kedai Galvanize', No.45, Lorong Hang Jebat, Jonker Walk.  Hari ini juga.  Mungkin kalau anda bernasib baik, anda akan dapat cenderahati dari buah-tangan En Azmin sendiri sempena pembukaan out-letnya.

Dan yang pastinya hasil dari jualan aku di Kedai Galvanize ni akan aku jadikan tabung ke 5 aku.  Tabung ke 5?  Tabung 1, 2, 3 dan 4 tu ape?

Anda ingat tak...dalam page blog yang lepas aku ada ceritakan pasal  pentingnya tabung kepada peniaga kecil macam aku ni.  Dan juga istilah 'ekonomi bidangan'?  Kalau nak tau...anda boleh PM kat facebook aku...fb.com/sofianms.

Cerita pasal tabung ni,  Dr Azizan Osman ada cerita.  Dan guru aku Cef Li pun ada cerita.  So...cerita tabung ni sahih. 

Aku doakan Selamat Maju dan Jaya kepada En Azmin dan Kedai Galvanize nya.  Dan kepada semua peniaga-peniaga kecilan macam aku ni, aku doakan kalian semuanya beroleh kesihatan yang luarbiasa dan sentiasa senyum dengan pelanggan...kalau pelanggan tak beli pun...anda dah dapat pahala, kerana senyuman adalah sedekah.

Frust!

1hb September 2012 ni, aku dapat order 1,500 bungkus nasi lemak dari students UiTM Alor Gajah Melaka.  Aku tak der masalah nak commit order ni...cuma 'DAUN PISANG' masih lagi jadi masalah paling besar.  Dah call semua supplier, masih tak cukup.  Budak-budak ni pulak dah biasa order ngan aku nasi lemak daun pisang,  kalau tak der daun pisang tak kick.  Bungkus ngan polystrene tak main.

Aaaaaarh...kalau ada pun supplier-supplier nak tolak kat aku,  minta sampai RM3-00 se kg.  Pergh!  Daun pisang pun macam emas.  Nak naik kan harga nasi lemak...tak sampai hati.  Masih dengan harga lama rm1-00 sebungkus.

Gutsy lady with an adventure bug


COMPETING in the Amazing Race Season 2 challenge has given 28-year-old Pamela Chong the adrenaline rush and now this gutsy lady is inspired to take up any race or test bestowed upon her.
“It sounds cliched, but being in the Amazing Race was a totally satisfying experience, as it had not only given me that much acquired exposure, but instilled the travel bug in me.
“Since then I have become an avid traveller and I have plans to see exciting places in the world,” said Chong, who is a business development and marketing manager with MileHighSounds, an audio production and music learning school in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.
Having obtained a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications and Multimedia from LimKokWing University College of Creative Technology in Cyberjaya, the Kuala Lumpur-born Chong said working with MileHighSounds has enabled her to try out deejay-ing.
“I would like to experiment the various fields and deejaying is very interesting and catchy,” said Chong, who considers herself a late bloomer.
Currently an ambassador for Power Over Cervical Cancer Campaign, a movement initiated by The National Cancer Society of Malaysia, Chong said the experience was something she holds close to heart and relished.
A food enthusiast, Chong revealed that she loved cooking simple and quick food.
“I love watching cooking shows and my all-time-favourite is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage, apart from the famous Anthony Bourdain.
“I like something that is quick, simple and fresh, and it’s inspiring just to watch them prepare a dish,” said Chong, whose mother is British.
“I love Japanese because of its simplicity and raw flavours. However, I still love our local nasi lemak, especially the way it is presented and the variety of condiments available in the meal,” she added.
Chong also considers herself an outdoors person and loves river rafting trips with friends, apart from going for dance classes and choreographing new steps.
On her future plans, Chong said she was considering going into business.
“I am still taking baby steps, but I am thinking of going into fashion or setting up a restaurant-and-bar. All of these would require a lot of hard work, but I am game to take the challenge,” said Chong, adding that she was once afraid of failure, but has managed to overcome it by believing in herself and her capabilities.

Nasi Lemak

It's just really hard to find a rather tasty nasi lemak nowadays especially in the 
morning. You know, that feeling when you see a nasi lemak stall by the roadside 
and have a certain expectation towards the taste and somehow the first bite of taste 
is disappointing. The samballll for god sake can you people make it more spicy and 
pleaseeeeee clean the ikan bilis first.

Yesterday night, sister & family and I went to Carlos Two to have a try on their 
nasi lemak. They gave good remarks on the food but I wasn't too sure whether the 
nasi lemak wasn't 'kick' enough or my wisdom tooth problem was bothering me 
all the while.

If you may ask, I personally think the best nasi lemak is nasi lemak Zaman 
at Gambang, Kuantan. We used to go there for breakfast & 1 pack of nasi lemak 
was never enough. Then just recently, the one at Klebang Milkshake and the 
one in Melati, the taste was so close to perfect I usually want to cry before eating. 
Hehe drama drama drama.

Aku Perlukan Daun Pisang!!!

Memasuki tahun baru 2012,  aku menghadapi masalah...DAUN PISANG.


Nampaknya hampir semua pembekal-pembekal DAUN PISANG di bandar Melaka ni 'angkat tangan' dan menyerah kalah kerana tak dapat membekalkan daun pisang kepada usahawan nasi lemak di bandar Melaka ni.  


Sudahlah harga daun pisang sentiasa naik macam harga emas...bekalan pula tak konsisten.


Sesiapa yang nak bekalkan DAUN PISANG...bolehlah hubungi aku segera.


Aku perlukan daun pisang NIPAH, BATU dan HUTAN sahaja.


Penghantaran setiap hari 20kg atau 60kg setiap 3 hari.  Harga ikut kilogram boleh dirunding.  Kalau nak bekalkan sekali-sekali pun boleh tapi kena telefon dulu.
